Main problems in the Pakistani education system

There are a lot of problems in Pakistan’s education system but as compared to the world it is necessary to know about the following

  1. Direction-less education system

As a state, Pakistan has no such standards of direction on whether to work on specific goals. As what to get from education.

  1. Lack of awareness by elders

The elders mean all the key position holders that are from education minister to peon of a school all the thousands of employees just work to fill their monthly attendance for salary, and most of them are unaware of the cause and goals of education. And also don’t want to accept the new world changes.

  1. Character building

The Pakistani education system can’t build the character of children accordingly. Honesty, punctuality, patriotism, truth, and all other basic characteristics are lacking in the Pakistani education system.

  1. Skills provision

The Pakistan education system can’t improve the skills of students.

  1. Research and innovation

The Pakistan education system doesn’t have any proper system of research and innovation. Literally, all the work is done through copy/paste. No research can be performed, and that’s why no engineers/ scientists can create.

  1. Lack of Technology

As it is necessary to have the proper use of technology in education, that enables the students to know and innovate new things.

  1. Charm of marks and grades.

It is the most dangerous thing in the Pakistani education system that all the students as well as parents are trying to get more marks legally or illegally, which suppresses the learning process. Mostly all educational institutes from school to university have a low-level learning environment. All the students just come to the campuses to chill and show off not to learn. Even most of teachers also unaware of how to create a fruitful learning environment.

Now the question is how to improve the Pakistan education system that improve Pakistan?

All of the above are the main reasons of the worse education system in Pakistan, Pakistan can change the system as under.

  1. Clear vision and mission

The state must have a clear vision, mission, and goals for education, and all the stockholders must be aware and trained for this from the education minister and secretary of education to a peon all the employees must know these goals and deal with each other according to those goals.

  1. Budget

A minimum of 5-7 % of total GDP must be allocated for education.

  1. Classes system must be updated as this is a very old concept (playgroup, nursery, prep, one, two, and so on)
  2. The examination system must have to change.
  3. No research and IT centers must have to increase.
  4. Special arrangements must be included in the character-building of students.
  5. Facilities in schools should also to maintained.

There is a lot of talent in Pakistan that is wasting day by day So the need of the day is to enhance the quality of education to utilize this talent wisely.
